One of my favorite porters of all time, Edmund Fitzgerald by Great Lakes Brewing Company. This beer taught me that beer is more than just Bud Light and Miller Lite.

60 Minute IPA brewed by Dogfish Head is the best of their IPAs in my opinion. Deliciously balanced in all the right ways.
Ruination IPA by the Stone Brewing Company is truly “a liquid poem to the glory of the hop!” Stone brews a ton of great beers but this one is my go-to beer from them. An IPA staple in my mind.
Great Divide Brewing Co. makes some terrific beers and you can’t go wrong with this imperial stout. A lot of times I find imperial stouts to be too strong but this one is so bold and silky smooth. Careful though, it’s still an imperial!
Easily taken on a hike in the mountains or enjoyed on the beach, I love the crisp and semi-fruity flavor of this “not quite pale ale” in the summertime. Brewed by Magic Hat in Vermont.
Jack D’Or is back and with a fresh new label! Last month I brought Jack D’Or with me to San Diego for the 2014 Beer Bloggers Conference. This delicious gem is brewed by Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project in MA and was the perfect beer to show off what MA has to offer to the craft beer world. Jack D’Or had some fun in the hotel’s pool waterfall before heading to the bottle share later that evening.
